We're Vanessa and Paul, and we own and operate a horse stud in beautiful Mid-Canterbury, New Zealand. Horses are a huge part of our lives, but Affordable Riderware wasn't created as a business plan—it was created out of a genuine need.

As proud grandparents to four young girls who love their ponies, I couldn't wait to buy them their first riding outfits. They started riding from before they were three years old, but I quickly discovered there was a huge gap in the New Zealand market. It was difficult to find quality, affordable riding clothes for young children, and I knew other families must be facing the same challenge.

So, instead of waiting for someone else to fill that gap, we decided to do it ourselves.

We began designing our own children's riding wear, focusing on quality, comfort, style and affordability. As our journey continued, we realised the same need existed for women too, so Affordable Rider Wear grew into a brand dedicated to providing quality rider wear for the whole family at prices that won't break the bank.

We know horses are more than a hobby—they're a lifestyle. We also know that keeping horses is expensive enough without paying premium prices for riding clothes.
